Day 2 was a bust,  I didn’t get anything done.  Let myself get caught up in a technical problem with trying to generate a download squeeze page as instructed in the Alex video about monetorizing.

Darn I wish I wouldn’t do that.  Must be my ego, when I get stuck I keep thinking, “ok I know what the problem is, I need to do it this way”.  So I spend another half hour trying “this way” to no avail and that just makes me even more determined to figure it out.

I did learn something I didn’t know though.  I changed a power point document into a PDF, thinking I could then open it in my coffeecup editor.

Turns out you can’t load a PDF into an html editor, at least not mine.

Oh well, new day, new challenge.  That’s the thing about this life of ours, you get to start fresh each day if you just let yourself.

Yesterdays gone, you can’t do anything to change that.    Today, the sun is shining the grass is green, the flowers are blooming, the computer is working, had breakfast with my grandson.  What a wonderful day, now stupid squeeze page don’t ruin it for me.

I was hoping to be to the 5th degree by now but seem to be stuck in the 4th degree hub.  I did get some more confirmations on my list so slowly but slowly the list is building inch by inch.

I’m the same way, Norm, thinking I can solve all of my own problems and wasting days doing so…or just plain wasting days. Happy to see you’re getting some people on your list, mine’s still barren. One of these days. :)

    Cheers,
    Rod

    Hi Norm,

Everyone gets days like that. Things that seem simple turn into a long run of problems. Look forward to being able to outsource all this tpye of thing sometime soon :)

    Thanks

Hey Rod, thanks for the comment
Yeh one of these days I’ll figure out what to do with this list of mine.

It’s interesting I’m actually getting more people opting into a software giveaway that didn’t have anything to do with Alex’s stuff and I have more confirmations there. Of course that stuff has been up longer also. I sure wish I knew how to tell if anyone has actually downloaded anything. Do you know how to get those stats?

Anyway thanks again for stopping by.

    Hi Norm,

I get days like that, as I sure does every one else. A good tip might be to set yourself a time limit on a task and then stick to it. I have also become pretty addicted to outsourcing, might be worth having a look at something like eLance or Getafreelancer.

Thanks for sharing, it is nice to know we all have challenging days.

    Cheers
    Mel

Hey, Norm, I have the same problems very often. This is due to the lack of organizing. We used to work under supervision all the time and had strict dues to follow. Now in the “Free Flight” sometimes we have tough time when do not know what to do next and waste our time doing not so neccessary things.
